How long does a website take?
Most sites take four to eight weeks. Larger sites may need more time.
Can you use our existing content?
Yes. I can organize and improve your current text and images.
Will it work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Every site is tested on small and large screens.
Can we update it ourselves?
Yes, with an editing setup included in your project. WordPress, Wix, and Squarespace have editors. A custom-coded site needs a separate editor or help with changes. We choose this before the build.
Is training included?
Yes. After launch, I show you how to make the updates your team needs. You can practise during the walkthrough and keep a written guide.
Can we change the style of a demo?
Yes. The demos are starting points. We can change the colours, photos, pages, layout, and features to suit your organization.
Which platform should we choose?
WordPress suits frequent updates. Wix and Squarespace offer visual editing with hosting included. Shopify is built for selling products. Compare your options.
Will people find us on Google?
I set up page titles, descriptions, a sitemap, and the basics Google needs to read your site. Search rankings take time and are not guaranteed. Clear content and regular updates help.
Who owns the accounts?
Your domain and paid platform accounts should be in your organization's name. You keep access. I explain any platform limits and paid tools before we start.
Will you maintain the website?
Yes. You can ask for occasional help or choose ongoing support.
Do you only work with churches?
No. I also work with charities, community groups, and local businesses.
